I help SCHOOLS, TEACHERS AND FAMILIES move from managing behavior to nurturing nervous systems so KIDS can experience MORE REGULATION, MORE connection, and GREATER emotional wellbeing
ABOUT ME
Chrissy D'Agostino is an educator, consultant, and trainer with over 20 years of experience supporting families and schools in deepening and transforming their relationships with children. Her work centers on attachment theory, the science of the nervous system, relational neuroscience, regulation, and trauma-informed approaches to discipline and parenting.
As the sibling of a non-speaking Autistic brother, Chrissy developed an early and intuitive understanding of nervous system states and the power of attunement. She began working in the autism field as soon as she was able, and her lifelong commitment to relationship-based models was solidified when she discovered the field of relational neuroscience as a graduate student in San Francisco, and later the work of Dr. Stephen Porges.
Chrissy holds Master’s degrees in both Early Childhood and Special Education and has completed extensive training and certification through The International Council on Development and Learning (ICDL), The Brazelton Touchpoints Center, The MEHRIT Centre, Ltd., Butler University's Applied Educational Neuroscience program, and The Regulated Classroom model.
Through her private practice, Chrissy offers parent education, educator training, and consultation to schools, families, and organizations nationwide. Her professional development offerings focus on using neuroscience-based tools to build connection, support regulation, and shift away from power-over disciplinary practices toward relational and responsive care.

"I want to let you know how amazing your help has been. Not only your tools and resources in helping us deliver the best education we can, but being a thoughtful, calm person who has just been there for our support . Thank you thank you thank you!"

a play-based guide to co-regulating with young children
Parenting and teaching young children has never felt harder.
The stressors are endless, the behaviors are bigger, and many adults are left wondering: What are we missing?
This book offers a hopeful, science-backed answer: We don’t need more discipline or more control - we need nervous system regulation, connection, and play.
Grounded in Polyvagal Theory, attachment research, and sensory integration, this guide gives parents and early years educators simple, practical tools to reduce overwhelm, experience co-regulation, and build resilience in everyday moments with young children.
Children don’t need our perfection. They need our presence, our connection, and our joy. Small moments of connection can change everything. Let us show you how!
